    Our farm shop began to take shape in 2020, when we were all at home, looking for the best ways to source local food. Our farm shop stocks all of our farm produce, including slow-grown, pasture-fed beef and lamb, free range pork, pastured eggs and wild venison. We also sell our own Bruern Bitter, sunflower oil and fresh flour from heritage grains grown at Bruern. 

    In keeping with our ethos of building community, we stock a small, rotating range of artisan gifts made by local craftspeople, including the full range of products made by Leslie Astor under her business Fifield Road Apothecary. 

    Visit our farm shop Monday - Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 9.30am-4pm.

    Café

    An extension of our farm shop, our café opened in December of 2022 to warm and immediate support from our local Wychwood community, and increasingly to folks from further afield. 

    From a hearty full English Bruern breakfast with sourdough toast, to seasonal vegetable soup, venison meatballs and vegan salads, our daily menu is full of tasty options for breakfast and lunch, or cake and coffee breaks. We endeavor to use our own meat and produce where we can, filling the gaps with locally sourced meat and veg as needed.

    Breakfast is served until 12 noon every day. Last food orders are at 2.45pm each day, after which you can enjoy our delicious cakes and other refreshments until closing.

    Monday to Saturday: 9am - 4pm 

    Sunday: 9.30am - 4pm

    Bruern Farms is passionate about three things: rebuilding a healthy ecosystem, growing wholesome nutritious food and building a vibrant community.

    Uniquely situated next to the D’Arcy Dalton Way and the Foxholes BBOWT nature reserve, we are a thriving hub where you can meet up, eat good food and enjoy a good walk through our beautiful farm.

    We grow a variety of grains including heritage wheats and barley, and make our own sunflower oil. We have our own mill and deliver fresh flour to many bakeries and restaurants in our local area and beyond.

    Our farm shop and café serve food from our farm - from sourdough and seasonal veg, to saddleback pork, wild venison and English long horn beef. We stock a variety of Bruern beers brewed from our own heritage barley. A healthy, delicious mix of farm-produced food and drink welcomes you - and we can't wait to share it with you.
