Working with natural materials, you will be introduced to accessible techniques such as random weaving and soumak, learning how to construct and shape three dimensional forms using moulds.
Drawing inspiration from your own seasonal imagery and personal references, you will explore how to translate memory and connection to nature into woven form. Through layering colour, texture and density, you will create a unique sculptural piece that reflects your individual vision.
Open to both beginners and experienced makers, this relaxed and supportive session encourages experimentation, skill building and creative confidence, leaving you with a finished work and fresh inspiration to continue your weaving journey.
