Stylish vocals from a seasoned, critically acclaimed professional
Born when her Canadian parents were in England, her father directing a Liverpool theatrical company, Katya Gorrie was raised in Canada, studying dance at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and from the age of 10 toured she with her parents' theatre company. Encouraged by her mother - a singer, dancer and poet, she studied classical music at Royal Conservatory of Music before taking a jazz course at Capilano College, Vancouver.
