Straw Craft is an ancient craft which has been practised for thousands of years, but unfortunately has been placed on the Heritage Crafts red list of endangered crafts.
At Cogges Manor Farm, we are lucky to have a Straw Craft expert, Anne Pounds who is part of our brilliant Volunteer Team. Anne has been practising Straw Craft for over 50 years and is a recognised member of the Strawcrafsmen.
Anne will be running a series of Straw Craft Workshops at Cogges this year, starting with this beautiful heart - perfect to honour Valentine's Day!
Join Anne for a relaxed half day session at Cogges Manor Farm where she will guide you through the steps to make a beautiful straw heart. Perfect for beginners, or more experienced straw crafters who want the opportunity to practice this lovely craft in an ancient setting.
