Opera for the People: An evening of popular opera and crossover music
Nicola Mills has turned opera on its head in this funny and inspiring show. She combines her down to earth Northern roots with singing ’opera’ in this truly unique show. Nicola will amaze you with her voice and stories of working class life, to singing in some of Europe’s finest opera houses to then taking opera to the streets. And not just opera. The audience choose the songs from her Song Menu (Mozart to musicals, to Elvis). It’s like nothing you’ve seen before. Taking the ‘posh’ out of opera. Nicola’s story is unique from start to finish.
