National Fitness Day with Better Leisure

Better leisure centres in Oxfordshire offer FREE activities to celebrate National Fitness Day 2024.

In 2023, National Fitness Day saw the participation of an estimated 11 million people, including over four million children and young people.

This year, National Fitness Day will continue under the theme ‘Your Health is Your Life’ highlighting the many ways that physical activity can and does have a positive contribution on an individual’s physical and mental health, while also providing an opportunity to make social connections.

Better’s free activities will take place at:

 Bartholomew Sports Centre, Eynesham

 Carterton Leisure Centre

 Chipping Norton Leisure Centre

 Windrush Leisure Centre, Witney

 Abbey Sports Centre, Berinsfield

 Didcot Leisure Centre

 Didcot Wave Leisure Centre

 Henley Leisure Centre

 Park Sports Centre Wheatley

 Thame Leisure Centre

 Faringdon Leisure Centre

 Wantage Leisure Centre

 White Horse Tennis and Leisure Centre

And will include:

 Free access to leisure centre gyms.

 Free swimming including Swim for All, Swim for Fitness and Aqua-aerobics.

 Free fitness classes such as HIIT, Pilates, Group Cycle and Body Conditioning.
