Join us for this open lecture, reviewing the results from past scientific studies on workplace exercise interventions in menopausal women.
The lecture will review the results from past scientific studies on workplace exercise interventions in menopausal women, and present a recent study undertaken by the Sport and Exercise science team at Oxford Brookes on the feasibility of an exercise intervention, its main findings and follow-up results two years later.
The main novelty of the study is the focus on exercising during work time. It is also a multidisciplinary study, using knowledge from sport physiology, psychology and physiotherapy and using qualitative and quantitative methods.
