Burford Jazz presents Greg Abate in concert

Greg Abate is a “very, very" fine jazz saxophonist, flautist and composer, who still tours the globe for at least 200 days of every year! We’re delighted he’s been able to include a return visit to Burford Jazz in his next tour of the England. His pedigree is gold plated - educated at Berklee College, Greg played lead alto sax for two years with The Ray Charles band - not a tribute, the real deal and Ray, they say, always chose wisely. Greg’s solo career has seen him perform all over the USA and throughout the world on some of the most prestigious stages. We welcome Greg who will create a wonderful live jazz show for us with a crack rhythm section of Alex Steele (piano), Paul Jefferies (bass) and Charlie Stratford (drums).
