Spring brings the Formal Gardens at Blenheim Palace to life with vibrant colour and fresh seasonal blooms. Early snowdrops brighten the Secret Garden and the riverbank near the Cascades by golden daffodils across the South Lawn and along the lakeside paths, the perfect selfie spot for spring. The Rose Garden reveals a refreshed look this year, with tall purple and white alliums as the space continues its restoration.
The 2,000‑acre Estate is especially enchanting in spring, with new-born lambs appearing in the surrounding fields from April and bringing a joyful burst of seasonal life to the landscape.
It’s the perfect time to enjoy the Park Perimeter Walk, where sweeping views of the Cascades, the Great Lake and the ancient oaks of High Park are framed by fresh greenery and new growth. You might even choose to stroll up to the Column of Victory or continue on to admire what is often called the ‘finest view in England’.
